What is SIM Swapping?
SIM swapping is a type of identity theft where criminals trick a mobile carrier into transferring a victim's phone number to a SIM card they control. This allows the attacker to intercept calls and texts, including two-factor authentication codes, to gain unauthorized access to the victim's accounts like bank and email.
We're working on a new encrypted service where you can receive your verification codes directly in the app, eliminating the risk of SIM interception.
When you change your number, SpamSlam automatically updates it across all linked applications, ensuring you never lose access.
All verification data is end-to-end encrypted. Not even your carrier or SpamSlam can see your 2FA codes.
